Green Day 3 3/4-Inch Kerplunk Girl ReAction Figure
Sorry, it's out of stock.
But we can let you know when it's back in.
Description
Green Day’s Kerplunk Girl brings the band’s early visual history to the ReAction Figure collection. This 3 3/4-inch-scale interpretation draws from Chris Applegren and Pat Hynes’ cover illustration for Kerplunk, the acclaimed 1991 album recognized for clever lyrics, nuanced guitar patterns, and inventive drumming. The figure is accompanied by a smoking gun accessory that reflects the character’s memorable artwork.
Known as Laurie L., this fictional Green Day devotee was introduced through a diary entry tucked into the original album. The text portrayed an obsessed fan determined to join the band on tour and was written by Larry Livermore, co-founder and principal owner of Lookout! Records; Applegren and Hynes supplied her illustrated appearance.
Super7 created new art for the blister card, taking its cues from the record’s cover. That layered connection to the album’s music, insert, and imagery makes this carded figure an especially distinctive display piece for longtime Green Day collectors.
